Wow what a weekend it was in the NFL. We had MJD hurt many fantasy owners by taking a knee at the one-yard line, Cutler throwing five interceptions in one game and finally one of the most exciting regular season games in history between the Pats and Colts. Many of the big names produced last week and I see no reason why they cant repeat their efforts this weekend. Plus fantasy owners might be scrambling to fill lineups with all the injuries to big name players during week ten. Once again this week we have a Thursday night game between the Dolphins and Panthers, so check your lineups and wavier wire so you can get your lineups straight.
STUDS
QB Ben Roethlisberger- After a rough week against the Bengals, Big Ben and the Steelers travel to Kansas City. The Steelers need to make a statement that they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot since the division is out of reach. Big Ben will light up the Chiefs secondary, as the Steelers will win big.
QB Donovan McNabb- McNabb threw for 450 yards last week in a loss. With Westbrook out for a while he will have to carry this team throughout the rest of the season. The Eagles need to win this tough match up against the Bears on Sunday night to keep in the playoff hunt. McNabb will fix the red zone problems the Eagles had last week and have great numbers.
RB Brandon Jacobs- Fresh off a bye and needing a win Jacobs will have a huge game against the Falcons. Atlanta ranks 26th in the league in rushing defense, which means the Giants running attack will help end their losing streak.
RB Ricky Williams- With Ronnie Brown out this week Williams will have to fill the void. The Dolphins cannot trust Chad Henne yet so Rocky Williams will have a huge week against a sub-par rushing defense of the Panthers.
WR Wes Welker- Expect a big week out of Welker. He has been a solid play this year especially in PPR leagues. The Jets will be more focused on stopping Moss, which means Welker will get plenty of looks in the slot.
WR Sidney Rice- It looks like Rice is Farve's new favorite target. Rice is catching everything that is coming his way. Three out of his last four games Rice has gone over a hundred yards and I would expect the same this week against the Seahawks.
TE Brent Celek- Last week the Bears completely shut down Vernon Davis but that won't happen to Celek this week. If the Bears focus on just Celek, that leaves Jackson and McClain running free. Celek has touchdowns in three straight games and expect a good game again this week.
FLEX Steven Jackson- This guy is awesome. Jackson had a HUGE week against the Saints and he will put up similar numbers against the Cardinals. Jackson third in the league in rushing, only two yards behind AP. This is almost unheard of from a running back on a team that is 1-8.
DUDS
QB Matt Ryan- It feels weird putting Matty Ice here again but he has not looked over the last few weeks. Now he is taking on a rested Giants team that is desperate for win. Ryan might be suffering from the "sophomore slump."
QB Matt Hasselbeck- Since the Seahawks bye week Hasselbeck has looked fairly good posting decent fantasy numbers. This week the Seahawks are at Minnesota, which means the Seahawk offense will struggle and starting running back Julius Jones is probably out.
RB Ryan Grant- The 49ers defense is third in the NFL in rushing defense. They stopped Forte last week as he only had 41 yards on the ground. The Niners defense will stuff Grant. If the Packers win it will be because of Aaron Rodgers. RB Tim Hightower- It finally looks like Beanie Wells is living up to the first round draft pick. Wells has come on strong the last few weeks. That means less and less touches for Hightower especially around the goal line where the Cardinals will give the ball to the Wells for his power rushing attack.
WR Brandon Marshall- Marshall has had two great weeks but this week he will be focus of the Chargers defense especially if Kyle Orton is out. Marshall didn't have a good week against the Chargers last time and a similar outcome is likely this week.
WR Greg Jennings- It looks like Jennings will play this week but don't expect a lot out of him. For some reason him and Rodgers are not on the same page, with most of the passes going to Donald Driver.
TE Heath Miller- Miller has struggled in recent weeks and they will continue. Big Ben will want to establish the running game and get the ball to his three wide outs. Miller is the odd man out this week.
FLEX Joseph Addai- Addai has looked good against the Pats even with the finger injury. The Colts play a desperate Ravens team that will stop Addai's screen passes and run game. Peyton will have to once again carry the Colts in this contest not the running game.
SLEEPERS
DEF Cincinnati- If you have a defense that has a bad match up or your defense is no longer worth starting (JETS) then look to see if the Bengals are available in your league. The next two weeks they have favorable games so pick them up if you can.
RB Jason Snelling- Michael Turner's injury opened the doors for Snelling. If you have injuries to you're team with all the running backs going down look for Snelling as a decent fill in player.
